what to expect...

You may be thinking what should I expect when I join Merricks maximum effect. We provide high intensity circuit training classes that ensure you target every muscle group in every session working towards you're desired goals.

The classes involve a 10 minute warm up to start you off then moving on to a 40 minute session with a total of 12 stations (upper, lower, core, cardio) so 3 times round the circuit. After your maximum efforts you will finish off with a cool down lasting 10 minutes. In total your circuit session will last an hour.

Asides from the training and your hard work when you join merricks maximum effect you will also build a  social circle with classes vary from 1-20 people per session. Fitness is all about building bonds and boosting each other up too!

  • upper exercise examples- lateral raises, superman (bodyweight), push-ups 

 

  • lower exercise examples- lunges, wall sits, squats

  • core exercise examples- heel touches, russian twists, single leg raises

  • cardio examples- jumping jacks, squat jumps, sprints
